Brett Walker is a photographer from West Marin, California USA.

Utilizing digital, 120 and 35mm film formats and working in a cinema verite tradition, Brett creates pictures that articulate both our natural and built landscapes and the activities we carry out within those environments. 

Available to shoot a variety of subjects and situations, Brett is currently most interested in making pictures of California wine, bands in recording studios, the coffee industry at origin, semi-pro dirt track car racing, curious architecture and ethereal landscapes.

Passport ready and available for commissioned portraits and editorial assignments, Brett has made pictures for San Francisco Magazine, Habitat Magazine, Josiah Johnson/ANTI- Records, Sutro Wine Company, Christopher Owens, Other Arts Magazine, Urban Scandal Records, Film First Company, OZMA of California, Medlock Ames Winery, Factory Coffee, Other Minds Records, Imagine Imagine Imagine Records (Hong Kong) and Sprudge magazine, among others.

Brett holds a BFA in Photography from the Maine College of Art and an MFA in Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley.
